Brooklyn Cocktail Bar was born from a simple idea: that a neighbourhood venue should do two things brilliantly. In the morning, it should feel like the best cafe in the suburb, a place where the coffee is serious, the food is made with care, and the light is just right. By evening, it should feel like somewhere genuinely special, intimate but unfussy, the kind of place where a great drink and a good conversation stretch long into the night.
We planted ourselves at 81 Ormond Road because Elwood is that kind of suburb. Close to the bay, full of people who appreciate quality without pretension. Brooklyn reflects that. Every detail, from the furnishings to the cocktail list, has been chosen to feel at home here.
